Board Game Rule When You Let Go You Cannot Move Again

Object of the Game

Be the get-go player to go all three of your pawns from your start area to your habitation

Setup

Each player takes three pawns of one color and places them on their matching colour get-go area. Shuffle the cards and place them face down in the middle of the lath.

The youngest player goes showtime. Play passes to the left.

Game Play

On your plow:

  1. Depict a card from the Lamentable! deck and follow the instructions on the bill of fare.

  2. Identify the card face on DISCARD HERE.

  3. If y'all run out of cards to draw, reshuffle the discard pile and place them face down in the center of the lath.


Starting a Pawn

Whatsoever forward-moving card can move a pawn out of its start area.


Moving Around the Board

Pawns move clockwise around the board, unless a menu instructs them otherwise.

Jumping and Bumping

You lot may jump over your own or another histrion'south pawn if it is in your way, counting it as one space.

Simply, if y'all land on a space that'due south already occupied by an opponent's pawn, crash-land that pawn back to its own color kickoff area and accept the space!


Occupied Spaces

Only one of your pawns may occupy a space at a time, except for the start area or home.

If your only possible move would require y'all to land on a space already occupied by one of your other pawns, y'all forfeit your plough.

If at any time you cannot motion, you forfeit your plough. But if y'all can move, you must move, fifty-fifty if information technology is non to your reward!


Rules of the Board

  • Slide

    Any fourth dimension yous state by exact count on the triangle at the first of a slide that shows your color, slide ahead to the stop and crash-land any pawns in your way − including your own! − back to their ain outset areas.

    If you land on a slide that does not show your color, don't slide, just stay put on the triangle.

  • Home

The Cards

  • Motility 1 of your pawns forward 1 infinite.

  • Move one of your pawns frontwards 10 spaces or move one of your pawns backward one space.

    • You may forfeit your move if you do not wish to modify places and it is impossible to go forward 11 spaces.

    • You may only switch pawns in play on the open up rail, non at kickoff, dwelling house, orin a prophylactic zone.

    • If your switch landed you lot on a triangle at the beginning of a slide that shows your color, slide to the terminate.


  • Movement one of your pawns forwards 12 spaces.


  • Movement a pawn from your start area to take the identify of another role player's pawn, which must return to its own start area. Or move i of your pawns forward four spaces.

    If there is no pawn on your starting time or no opponent'due south pawn is on any space you can motion to and you cannot move any of your pawns iv spaces, you forfeit your plow.
